But, for simplicities sake, here's an answer. Figure out how many pages you want your web site to have. And then estimate it at $100 a page.

For example, a simple site with a main page and a contact page, with 3 other pages detailing your services will cost you around $650.

Another example: a site with a few 'static' pages ( pages that do not change in terms of content ) mixed in with a few 'dynamic' pages ( pages where the owner can change content from an administration page ) will run to around $1500.
